Why TaptiPM?
TaptiPM is an enterprise-grade project management platform that unifies PM, HRMS, Finance, CRM, and AI capabilities into a single workspace. Unlike traditional tools that force you to integrate five or more separate products, TaptiPM provides a cohesive experience where every module shares the same data model, authentication, and notification system.
This means your sprint capacity planning automatically accounts for approved PTO from HRMS, your project labor costs flow directly into Finance dashboards, and your client delivery timelines are visible in the CRM — all without manual data sync or third-party middleware.
Step 1: Create Your Workspace
Navigate to taptipm.com/onboarding and register your organization. You will choose a workspace slug (your-company.taptipm.com), enter your company details, and create an admin account. The entire process takes less than 60 seconds.
TaptiPM offers four plans: Free (up to 3 users, 1 project), Starter ($8/user/mo, up to 25 users, 10 projects), Professional ($12/user/mo, up to 100 users, unlimited projects with AI), and Enterprise (custom pricing, unlimited everything with SSO, custom domain, and dedicated support). All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
Step 2: Configure Your Team
Navigate to Settings > Users and send email invitations to your team members. TaptiPM comes with 7 pre-configured roles: Super Admin, Admin, Project Manager, Developer, HR Manager, Finance Manager, and Client User. Each role has granular module-level permissions that you can customize.
For larger organizations, consider setting up departments first (Settings > Departments), as this enables department-based filtering across all modules. Department budgets, headcount limits, and cost center codes can be configured here.
Step 3: Create Your First Project
Click "New Project" from the sidebar and configure your methodology. TaptiPM supports Scrum (sprint-based), Kanban (flow-based), and hybrid approaches. For Scrum teams, you will define sprint duration (typically 2 weeks), set up your board columns, and configure Definition of Done checklists.
Import existing work items from Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or CSV using the built-in import tool (Settings > Integrations > Import). The mapper automatically detects field types and preserves your existing hierarchy (Epic > Story > Task).
Step 4: Explore Views and Customize
Switch between six different views to manage work your way: Kanban board for visual workflow, Gantt timeline for schedule management, Calendar for deadline tracking, Grid view for bulk editing, Backlog for prioritization, and List view for compact scanning. Each view supports saved filters and can be shared with your team.
Customize your workflow by going to Settings > Workflows where you can define custom states, transition rules, and auto-assignment triggers. For example, you can configure stories to automatically assign to a QA reviewer when moved to "Dev Complete" status.
Step 5: Enable Additional Modules
Depending on your subscription plan, enable HRMS for employee lifecycle management, Finance for expense tracking and invoicing, or CRM for client pipeline management. Each module integrates seamlessly — employee leave data feeds into sprint capacity, project costs flow to finance dashboards, and delivery milestones are visible to clients.
Start with one module at a time. Most teams begin with the core PM features, then add HRMS after the first month, followed by Finance and CRM as they gain confidence with the platform.
